This illustration of a camilia that I attempted for my grad illustration class on materials and techniques. Not my usual pastels. It's using CF Payne's technique. It was a bit washed out. Live and learn. This next one is a magnolia in Mark English's technique.

I say CF Payne demo one time at my school, his technique seemed way too complicated for me, too many steps.I still love the results though. Good work, your flowers look lovely.
I will have to look up those techniques! These are lovely drawings - sounds like a really interesting class!
