This podcast episode will be live on Saturday, June 1st at 2 pm. on  My Creative Life .  I had an amazing time talking with my college friend, Travis Falligant. I had the pleasure of meeting Travis while attending  SCAD. He may have been one of the first people I met from orientation. Travis has been bringing pop culture and movies into his illustration work. He has done work for Fangoria, Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment, and 20th Century Fox. Just to name a few clients. I could tell when we met at SCAD Travis had a passion for movies & pop culture. I laughed so much while we talked about our time at SCAD during the 90’s. This is Episode 2. I'm doing a watercolor of a shortcake, and I created some hand lettering with it.

I started posting videos for my exploration in illustration. I've started with this episode 1. I hope you enjoy! It's about the new Koi Watercolor Field Set I just got from dickblick.com.

I got a wacom cintiq pro 16". It is one of the best digital investments I've ever made. I'm super excited that I finally got this tool. I now have a completely digital workflow from beginning to send. I spent about 6 months researching different reviews to make sure this is what I wanted. There are other Chinese knock offs that had promising reviews, but I went with a brand I've used before. Prior to this purchase I'd owned a Wacom Bamboo & Wacom Intuos Pro. Then I purchased a iPad 2018 then I knew I wanted to get a tablet I could draw on full time. Another reason I went with wacom was that the drivers from the other manufacturers didn't have the greatest reviews. Here are the videos I watched in order to make my decision. I haven't posted in a while. Trying to get into some work for fun. I've been practicing and creating some ink art for inktober. Inktober was created by Jake Parker. More info on this event is here .
